# Organisation summary

What Sted knows about your organisation on one page: profile cards, standards and framework counts, registers, and how to correct a fact.

Organisation summary is the one page that shows what Sted knows about your organisation: what you told Steward, which standards you have adopted, how far your framework has come, and your management-system registers. Everyone in the organisation can read it. Administrators correct a fact through its **Update** link, which reopens the conversation.

## What this is

Every recommendation Sted makes rests on facts about you: where you operate, how big you are, what you sell, what data you hold. The Summary lays those facts out so you can check them, because a wrong fact upstream means a wrong recommendation downstream.

It also gathers in one place the things other pages own: counts for your standards and documents, a [Statement of Applicability](/docs/product/statement-of-applicability) card for each adopted standard that has a control catalogue, and the [management-system registers](/docs/product/management-system-registers) drafted from your answers.

## Where to find it

Open **Summary** in the group named after your organisation in the sidebar. The Summary stays open while onboarding is unfinished, even though Framework, Standards and Audit readiness are locked.

On a phone, the sidebar sits behind the **Menu** button.

## How it works

### The nine profile cards

The page opens with nine profile cards, in the order Steward asks about them: **Your organisation**, **Where you operate**, **Size and thresholds**, **What applies to you**, **Products and systems**, **Data and privacy**, **Payments and financial services**, **Standing and relationships**, and **Voluntary posture**. A question nobody has answered yet reads "Not yet captured". **Products and systems** appears once you have a product or an AI system on record.

For a medical device, **Products and systems** shows the classification per market, or "No classification yet" until it has one.

### Strips and registers

Under the cards, three strips count what you have: **Standards** (adopted and recommended), **Audit readiness** (a percentage, for administrators only) and **Framework** (approved documents and drafts). Each links to its own page.

Then come the Statement of Applicability cards and the management-system registers. A register appears only once it has rows.

### Correct a fact

1. Open **Summary**.
2. Find the card that holds the wrong fact.
3. Select **Update** on that card.
4. Give Steward the right answer in the conversation that opens.

Facts change only inside the conversation, so each one keeps a record of how it was given. Once onboarding is finished, the link **Review your onboarding answers** at the top of the page reopens the whole conversation.

### Generation history

Generating your framework does not start here; it starts from Standards or from the end of onboarding. The last card on the page, **Generation history**, is collapsed and lists past generations, with the option to revert one.

## Permissions

People have one of four levels. What each sees and does on the Summary:

| Action | Administrator | Policy and Process Owner | Reviewer | Personnel |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Read the profile cards and strips | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| See the Audit readiness strip | Yes | No | No | No |
| See the captured financial figures | Yes | No | No | No |
| Use Update to correct a fact | Yes | No | No | No |
| Add or edit register rows | Yes | No | No | No |
| See Generation history and revert a run | Yes | Yes | No | No |

Controls your level cannot use are not drawn: no **Update** link, no figures and no readiness strip. Everyone still sees the size-test outcomes, such as your business size.

## Limits and plan features

A Statement of Applicability card appears only for an adopted standard with a control catalogue. Registers you have not started do not show, so a new organisation sees few or none.

The Summary has no generate button: generation starts from Standards or the end of onboarding. Audit readiness is visible to administrators only for now.

## Frequently asked questions

Q: Can everyone in my organisation see the Summary?
A: Yes, every level can read it. Administrators also see Update links and the financial figures you gave, which nobody else sees, and the Audit readiness strip.

Q: How do I correct a wrong fact on the Summary?
A: An administrator selects Update on the card, which reopens Steward's conversation at the phase where the fact was captured. Facts are changed in that conversation, not typed into the card, so Sted keeps a record of how each one was given.

Q: Why is there no button to generate my framework on the Summary?
A: Because generation starts from Standards, with Update and generate framework, or from the end of onboarding. The Summary keeps the history of past generations in its last card instead, for administrators and Policy and Process Owners.
