Plans and billing
Sted has four plans: Preview, free for one user; Just the Framework, £99 a month for one user; Framework and Users, £299 a month for up to five; and Full Management System, £499 a month for up to 15. Paying annually saves 20%. Prices exclude VAT. Administrators buy and change plans through Stripe.
What this is
Every organisation starts on Preview, so you can see what Sted builds before you pay. Each paid plan adds to the one below it:

Beyond these four plans, an Enterprise plan is available for organisations that need more than 15 users: email info@intellassure.com to ask Sted for one.
Where to find it
Open Plan and Users in the group named after your organisation in the sidebar. Only administrators see it. The plan card at the top shows your plan, its status, how it is billed, and when it renews or ends.
Anyone who opens a feature their plan lacks sees a notice naming the lowest plan that includes it. On a phone, the sidebar sits behind the Menu button.
How it works
Buy a plan
- Open Plan and Users.
- Select Choose a plan on the plan card.
- Choose Monthly or Annual.
- Select Choose plan under the plan you want.
- Pay in Stripe Checkout.
You return to Plan and Users, where a notice says your subscription is being set up. The plan shows within about a minute, once Stripe confirms the payment.
Switch, update payment or cancel
Once you have a plan, Change plan opens the plans, where Switch takes you to Stripe’s customer portal; Manage billing goes there directly. In the portal you switch plan, update the payment method or cancel. A cancelled plan shows Ends on with a date, and the organisation moves to Preview after it.
If a payment fails, you keep your plan while Stripe tries again, and the plan card asks you to update the payment method.
Card details stay with Stripe; Sted keeps only the state of your subscription.
What Preview stops at
After the one free generation, Preview lets you open one generated document in full. Opening a second, generating again, or exporting a PDF shows a prompt to choose a plan.

People have one of four levels.

Plan and Users is in the sidebar for administrators only. When anyone else opens a feature their plan lacks, the notice asks them to have an administrator change the plan.
Limits and plan features
User limits are hard: an invitation past your plan’s limit is refused, with a link to the plans. For more than 15 users, ask Sted for an Enterprise plan. Records are only in Full Management System, and training starts at Framework and Users. PDF export is not part of Preview.
Plans meter seats and features, never standards: on a paid plan you can add as many standards and regulations as you like, add products, change your profile and regenerate your framework at no extra cost.
Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT.

How much does Sted cost?

What if we need more than 15 users?
Ask Sted for an Enterprise plan, which is for organisations that need more than 15 users. Email info@intellassure.com to ask for one.
Does adding standards cost more?
No. Plans meter seats and features, never standards: on a paid plan you can add as many standards and regulations as you like, add products, change your profile and regenerate your framework at no extra cost.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, Preview, and it needs no card. You get one user, one free generation of your whole framework, and one generated document to open in full.
What happens when I cancel?
Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, which the plan card shows as Ends on, and then your organisation moves to Preview. You cancel in Stripe’s portal, through Manage billing.
How long does a new plan take to arrive?
About a minute. After you pay in Stripe Checkout, Plan and Users says the subscription is being set up and shows the plan as soon as the payment is confirmed.
